Spit, wounds and tears
Breathing the peace of the Spirit into my passages, Life takes on solemnity
Attacks, they come and go and it’s no longer tolerable, the funny, the arrogant, the shallowness, it turns the knife
The shrill gaities, they knock me out and I’m forced out like a menace
Pushed and shoved by the dialogue of strangers
Die to the peace of the Spirit to be born again and again
